Tally.ERP 9 goes to not responding mode after doing Auto update of Release.

Reason
Google Input tools are installed or ODBC is enabled in Tally.ERP 9(Under F12 > Advanced configuration).

Solution
In server system on auto update, message is displayed as ‘Congratulations, Tally ERP 9 Release 4.93 updated successfully. Instead of Tally application getting restarted by closing and re-opening, Tally is going to not responding mode.

If Tally is forcefully closed and again opened, it shows previous release.
To rectify the issue follow the steps mentioned below:-

Uninstall Google Input tools as per the procedure given below.

Ø  Go to Control Panel.

Ø  Click on Programs and Features.

Ø  Select Google Input Tools and Uninstall.
                                                    Or
Disable ODBC
Ø  Go to Gateway of Tally or Company info

Ø  Press F12: Advanced Configuration.

Ø  Disable the option “enable ODBC Server”.
