How to use Help (user manual) of Tally.ERP 9 in offline mode in Release 5?

From Release 5, Tally user manual is accessed through Web (online). However users also can use help content in non-internet (offline) systems.

Hence it is required to install Help file to access offline help from Tally.ERP9.

Procedure to install help file to access in offline computer is given below:

a)     Download Help Installer from Download Centre as shown below:

b)    Install help file using setup.exe as shown below. By default path shows the previously installed Tally.ERP9 folder.

c)     Go ahead installing help and see the successful message after installation:

d)    When you the check installation folder, a new Help folder is installed

e)     If Help is installed in Tally.ERP9 installation folder then default path for Help is shown in Tally.ini file (notepad format) as below:

Note: Ensure you change the default path, if installing Help file apart from Tally.ERP9 installation folder.

f)     Now go to Tally à click on Help (Alt + H) to access offline help content:
